Jean-Luc Rouge elected new IJF Sec-Gen

Former World Champion Jean-Luc Rougé of France has been elected the new General Secretary of the IJF.

“I have a mission” he said, right after his election, adding that “after several years of strong development, we must now secure the overall IJF structure and modernize the way it works”.

Rougé, who has been president of the French Judo Federation since 2005, went on to say: “Sport has been a priority, and it is still the case, but we must now get focussed on the administrative development. That will be my duty with President Vizer and his team.”
